The 8200-1300 is a product under the Woodward Woodward brand and is one of the digital governors in the 505 turbine control series. The main function of this device is to control single or double split actuator steam turbines, and it can be configured as part of the factory DCS (distributed control system) or used as an independent unit.
The 8200-1300 has five PID controllers, including speed/load PID controllers, cascade PID controllers, and AUX1 and AUX2 PID controllers, providing rich choices and flexibility for control operations. It is also designed with a graphical control panel display and an operator control panel with a keyboard, which includes emergency stop buttons, start, stop, ESC and home buttons,
numeric keypad, up/down switch buttons, and input keys with up/down and left/right buttons for intuitive and convenient operation. In addition, there are four LED indicator lights on the left side of the panel, which are used to display CPU operation status, IO lock, summary alarm, and summary trip, making it convenient for users to monitor the real-time operation status of the device.
In terms of security, the 8200-1300 includes a watchdog timer and a CPU fault circuit, which are used to monitor the operation of the microprocessor and its memory, ensuring the stable operation of the equipment. Its operating temperature range is -30 ° C to+70 ° C (with display), and it meets the standard IP20, pollution level 2, and overvoltage category 3. In addition, the 8200-1300 uses a standard LVDC (18-32 VDC) power supply, allowing it to operate stably and efficiently.
