T8448 Trusted Triple Module Redundancy (TMR) Regional Interface Module

T8448, as a multifunctional field terminal component, is mainly designed as the main interface between field devices related to fire and gas detection and suppression, as well as a trusted triple module redundant (TMR) area interface module. In addition, it is also used as an interface for the trusted TMR valve monitoring module T8449, which alternates its digital output with the solenoid valve and valve position analog input.

Each channel of VFTA (Multi functional Field Terminal Assembly) is configurable, enabling access to various field devices, including devices that generate analog and digital input signals, as well as output devices that require up to 28Vdc digital signals. Specifically, each VFTA has 40 channels that can be configured as inputs or outputs. The industrial standard on-site equipment connection (2 or 3 wires) and the compatible design with standard DIN rails make installation and connection simple.

In terms of power supply, the T8448 on-site power supply is divided into 5 groups, each with 8 channels, and can be powered from the controllable output of each group. The melting field power supply of each channel ensures the stability and reliability of the power supply. The operating voltage range of this module is from 18vdc to 28vdc.

In addition, T8448 may also have some encoder module features, such as supporting different types of encoders (such as photoelectric encoders, magnetic encoders, etc.), providing high-precision position and speed measurements, supporting multiple encoding methods (such as absolute encoding and incremental encoding), and having encoder feedback devices. These features enable T8448 to monitor the device's motion status in real-time and transmit data to the control system for feedback control.
